Human Services, one of America's leading social enterprises. Founded
in Seattle in 1962, Pioneer employs 700 people in its businesses,
most of who come from its target population of ex-offenders and
former drug abusers. Its annual budget of $55 million is funded
nearly entirely through Pioneer's business income.
